The Wolfson Microelectronics WM8521 stereo DAC with an integrated output op-amp stage is designed to generate a 2.0 Vrms output signal directly, reducing external component requirements in digital audio applications. The WM8521H9 outputs 2.0Vrms at 9V supply and is designed for cost sensitive consumer digital audio applications requiring 2Vrms line output. The Wolfson Microelectronics WM8521 features a sampling frequency of 8kHz to 192kHz.
Wolfson Microelectronics WM8352 AudioPlus™ Stereo CODEC
The Wolfson Microelectronics WM8352 AudioPlus™ stereo CODEC is an integrated audio and power management subsystem that provides a cost effective, single-chip solution for portable audio and multimedia systems. The Wolfson Microelectronics WM8352 AudioPlus stereo CODEC provides all the necessary functions for high-quality stereo recording and playback. Programmable on-chip amplifiers allow for direct connection of headphones and microphones with a minimum of external components. The WM8352 includes six programmable DC-DC converters, four LDO regulators, and a current limit switch to generate suitable supply voltages for each part of the system, including the integrated audio CODEC as well as off-chip components such as a digital core and I/O supplies, and LED lighting.

The WM8961 CODEC includes an additional integrated high power Class D stereo speaker driver that extends its ultra-low power audio technology into applications that require high performance speaker driver functionality, including mobile Internet devices, handheld gaming, and portable media players. The Wolfson Microelectronics WM8961 provides the industry's lowest playback power, enabling dramatically extended battery life in the demanding real usage modes of today's multimedia portable devices. This Wolfson Microelectronics CODEC has stereo class D speaker drivers that provide 1W per channel into 8Ω loads with a 5V supply.
Wolfson Microelectronics AC´97 Audio and Touch Panel CODEC
The AC´97 Audio and Touch Panel CODEC from Wolfson Microelectronics are highly integrated input/output devices for mobile computing and communications. The WM9712L device is equipped with phone input/output pins for seamless integration with wireless communication devices. The device contains up to four auxiliary ADC inputs for analog measurements such as temperature or light, and five GPIO pins for interfacing to buttons or other digital devices. Two uncommitted comparator inputs allow monitoring battery voltage in portable systems. The device can generate interrupts to indicate pen down, pen up, availability of touch panel data, low or dead battery, and GPIO conditions. All device functions are accessed and controlled through a single AC-Link interface that is compliant with AC`97 standard.
