Amphenol Fiber Systems International LEAP® On-Board Transceiver (LEAP OBT)

Amphenol Fiber Systems International LEAP® On-Board Transceiver (LEAP OBT) is a 300Gb/s high-speed optical module that is faster and smaller than most conventional data center interconnects. The 300Gb/s total throughput requires only 1in2 of board space and 5.4W of power. The cost-effective LEAP OBT is also capable of speeds up to 25Gb/s and distances up to 100m. The 1" x 1" layout grid means transceivers can be placed in a two-dimensional layout grid with a 1" pitch between adjacent transceivers. Optical cables can be routed above or around other components in the design. Amphenol Fiber Systems International LEAP On-Board Transceiver is designed for applications such as military, ground communication, network systems, and radars.
