ams OSRAM AS5116 Development Tools are designed for quick evaluation, programming, and testing of the AS5116 AEC-Q100 On-Axis Magnetic Position Sensors. The AS5116 AEC-Q100 On-Axis Magnetic Position Sensor is a contactless sensor for accurate angular measurement over a complete mechanical turn of 360°. This sensor features a robust architecture based on Hall sensor technology that measures the orthogonal component of the flux density (Bz) over a full-turn rotation.
The ams OSRAM AS5116 Development Tools include an adapter board, socket board, motor board, and evaluation kit. The AS5116-SO_EK_SB socket board is used to quickly program the AS5116 magnetic rotary position sensors without soldering due to its ZIF socket. This socket board is used in combination with the USB I&P Box or the SD4Y production programmer. The AS5116-SO_EK_AB Adapter Board is a small PCB allowing simple and quick testing or evaluation of the AS5116 magnetic position sensor without the need to build a test fixture or design an own PCB.
