Analog Devices Inc. DC2898A & DC2899A LTM4655 Demonstration Circuits

Analog Devices Inc. DC2898A and DC2899A LTM4655 Demonstration Circuits provide a reference design for a dual inverting DC-DC converter based on the LTM4655 µModule Regulator.  The DC2898A features a 13V to 40V input voltage range and two 12V outputs at 4A each. The DC2899A features a 13V to 28V input voltage range and two 12V outputs at up to 2.5A. 

The 2898A and 2899A Demonstration Circuits have both channels switching frequencies set at 1.2MHz. In addition, if the output voltage collapses sufficiently due to an overload or short-circuits condition, the internal oscillator will fold back to one-fifth of the LTM4655’s programmed switching frequency, protecting the power switch from damage. The two channels are able to be paralleled for higher output current.
