Bosch BMA400 Triaxial Accelerometers

Bosch BMA400 Triaxial Accelerometers bring a unique balance of high performance and ultra-low power consumption to wearable and IoT devices requiring always-on battery systems. These accelerometers, which draw ten times less current than existing accelerometers, received the CES 2018 Innovation Award for embedded technologies. The BMA400 series features continuous measurement but remains in a minimal-power sleep mode unless the activity is detected. These Bosch accelerometers can sense tilt, orientation, and tap/double tap, while a plug-and-play activity recognizing step counter draws only 4µA. A 12-pin, 2.0x2.0x0.95mm form factor with low pass filters makes these triaxial accelerometers ideal for even the most compact, high vibrational devices.
