Microchip Technology maXTouch® 144-node Touchscreen Controller

Microchip Technology maXTouch® 144-node Touchscreen Controller uses a unique charge-transfer acquisition engine to implement its patented capacitive sensing method. The touchscreen sensing solution can measure, classify, and track the number of individual finger touches with high accuracy in the shortest response time. mXT144U 1.0 allows for both mutual and self-capacitance measurements, which are used to augment the mutual capacitance measurements to produce reliable touch information.
