Würth Elektronik Power over Ethernet (PoE) Transformers

Würth Elektronik PoE Transformers are available in several series:

WE-PoE series are flyback transformers designed for POE power devices. These transformers feature 36V to 57V input voltages, 1.5KV_AC/1min isolation voltage, and 200kHz to 500kHz switching frequencies.

MID-PoE series are Midcom transformers that are small, cost-effective, and offer low resistance. These transformers are optimized for PoE applications and feature a flat top for pick-and-place operation.

WE-PoE+ series is designed to meet 30W PoE+ objectives of IEEE802.3at and offer 250kHz to 400kHz frequency range. The input voltage of these transformers ranges from 36V to 72V.

WE-PoEH series transformers are high-power transformers with a standard footprint to EP13. These flyback or forward transformers offer different output voltages, 9V or 33V to 57V input voltage range, and 200kHz to 400kHz switching frequencies. They have an optimized core and bobbin design that allows 30% more power handling.

MID-PoELT series transformers are Midcom transformers for PoE/PoE+/PoE++ transformers developed in partnership with Linear Technology. These transformers offer low-profile EP and EFD packages, low leakage inductance, and 13W to 90W output power. They are available in 5V, 12V, and 24V output voltage variants.

MID-PoETI series transformers are Midcom transformers designed for Texas Instruments. These transformers are small with a low profile, making the components suitable for pick-and-place applications. The MID-PoETI transformers feature very low leakage inductance, low resistance, and are available in EFD20, EP13, and ER19/4.8/15 packages.
